In a tandem-lift, the high-performance floating sheerlegs with excellent manoeuvring qualities have the capacity to lift up to 3,000 tonnes and to transport the load hanging in the hook over longer distances. Weights of up to 230 tonnes can easily be lifted up to a height of 160 metres. The floating sheerlegs are, for example, not only employed for the installation of bridges, for pile-pulling operations or during marine construction work, but also for the displacement and assembly of ship sections in a shipyard or for other heavy lifts in the harbour.
